About Business Pluspoint
Hello! I’m Gillian Steedman and I own and run Business Pluspoint.
I design magazines, advertisements, websites and e-newsletters for a range of clients on a regular and ad-hoc basis. I’ve designed floor-to-ceiling wall panels and typed an aspiring novelist’s first book. I’ve written product copy, managed databases and designed a range of coordinating wedding stationery.
Prior to starting the business in 2006 I had accumulated over 25 years' marketing and design experience in a variety of private sector organisations including five years direct marketing with mail order giant J D Williams and more than eight years marketing and merchandising for international charity The Leprosy Mission in their mail order trading division TLM Trading Ltd.
Following marriage to Ian and a move to Berkshire in 2004 I was initially employed at party goods supplier Party Pieces and, since setting up Business Pluspoint, continue to work there on a freelance basis.
