Party Pieces is a well-established and successful mail order company supplying a wide range of children's party tableware, decorations, activities and gifts through its websites and printed catalogue.
Gillian Steedman has worked with Party Pieces since 2005, initially as an employee and, since early 2007, as a consultant through Business Pluspoint.

In early 2007 the website redesigned and transferred to a upgraded version of the e-commerce platform.
Business Pluspoint assisted with the beta testing of the new site, both before and after going 'live'; checking for bugs, dead ends and ensuring all processes work as specified. Business Pluspoint prepared all product data in the correct format for the new site, re-writing or adding new copy as required.
Regular involvement since then include testing further upgrades and refinements to the website, and creating the new sister branded websites that share the Party Pieces shopping basket.
Website Upgrade User Interface Testing
Party Pieces has regular contact with its customers via email newsletters in addition to their catalogue mailings. To achieve this, Party Pieces uses a third party to broadcast the emails, but data preparation, adding tracking codes to the html creative, upload and testing is carried out in-house by Business Pluspoint.
Business Pluspoint is also involved in a number of other projects for Party Pieces including:
