Website Upgrade User Interface Testing
Party Pieces is a well-established and successful mail order company supplying a wide range of children's party tableware, decorations, activities and gifts through its website and printed catalogue.
In early 2007 the website was due to be upgraded to a newer version of the e-commerce platform.
Business Pluspoint was commissioned to assist with the beta testing of the new site, both before and after going 'live', checking for bugs, dead ends and ensuring all processes work as specified.
Business Pluspoint was also responsible for the transfer of all product data in the correct format for the new site, re-writing copy and adding new data as required.
Business Pluspoint has been regularly involved since then in testing various other upgrades and refinements to the website, including the new sister sites that share the Party Pieces shopping basket.
Email Marketing
Party Pieces has regular contact with customers via email newsletters in addition to their catalogue mailings. To achieve this, Party Pieces uses a third party to broadcast the emails, but data preparation, adding tracking codes to the html creative, upload and testing is all carried out in-house by Business Pluspoint.
